Olive Oil-Pomace

Blossom offers very good quality pomace grade Olive Oil in bulk. It has pale yellow color and odorless for versatile application. 

Olive fruit/pulp is cold pressed (centrifuged) to obtain Extra Virgin Olive Oil.  After this first extraction, there is still oil left in the dry pulp left over (called olive pomace).  A solvent is added to the pomace to extract remaining oil.  It results in pale yellow color oil with neutral odor and is called Pomace Olive Oil. It is most economical grade amongst different grades of olive oils.

Oleic Acid is the main fatty acid in olive oil. It moisturizes and cleanse the skin. It helps Vitamin E to go deeper into the skin, restore smoothness, and protect against ultraviolet light. Olive Oil is also used for nail and cuticle care. Women use it as an eye makeup remover. Natural soaps with Olive Oil are very popular. Many people with sensitive dry skin use these soaps to solve skin conditions. Creams and body lotions with olive oil are widely preferred due to its beneficial properties.
